2020 Re-Entry Plan

UPDATE ON RSU 29 RE-ENTRY FOR THE FALL OF 2020

Through guidance from the Governor’s office, Maine Department of Education, the Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the RSU 29 administration and staff are working to develop plans to meet the needs of our student learners as we approach the beginning of the coming school year.

We are considering multiple possibilities and formats in order to develop a flexible, fluid plan that can be quickly adjusted to ensure our school, students, staff, families, and community remain safe and that teaching and learning continue amid local, regional, and state developments relative to the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Please visit the Maine Department of Education website to view the Framework for Return to School (https://www.maine.gov/doe/framework). This framework document helps to guide our work providing requirements and recommendations. This document is continually updated as new guidance becomes available.

Information and notifications regarding the plan(s) specific to RSU 29 will be communicated through various avenues including email, the RSU 29 website, School Messenger and our Facebook page.

Thank you to the RSU 29 parents/guardians who have completed the RSU 29 survey that was emailed to you last week. If you have not completed the survey please do so by July 24th. If you have not received a survey, please email Susie.crovo@rsu29.org so that one can be sent to you. Your input will help us as we determine our plans.

As always, we thank you for your support!
