Dear Students, Parents/Guardians, and Staff, This letter contains some important information and updates. Please read carefully!
Again, let me start by thanking all of you for helping support our students and children. Our teachers, parents, ed. techs, kitchen staff, secretaries, custodians, bus drivers, and all other staff have gone above and beyond to meet the needs brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic. You are all heroes in my book!!!
We do not know how long our schools will ultimately be closed. At this time, we will be closed at least until April break. IF we were able to resume school at that time, it would be after the scheduled April break on April 27th. I promise to keep you updated as time moves forward.

Remote Learning Material: Weeks One and Two (March 23 – 27 and March 30 – April 3) were made available last week. Packets were picked up for grades pre-k through 5. Middle and High School students could access their materials online OR paper packets were available in the office.
Weeks Three and Four (April 6-10 and April 13 –17) will be available in the same manner starting April 1-3rd from 8am – 2:30pm. Packets can be picked up at the schools for grades pre-k through grade 5. Middle and High School students will be able to access their material online or paper packets will be available in the office starting April 1-3rd from 8am – 2:30 pm. Our facilities: We are trying to drastically limit the access to our buildings. Other than on the designated days when remote learning packets are being picked up or if your child is receiving a meal at one of the school sites – we ask that the general public does not enter the schools. Our buildings are being deep cleaned by our custodial staff. Our educational staff is limiting their use of the buildings to only when essential. Our offices are either closed or have limited hours. Please, if you need to do business at any of the schools or the central office, attend to that business through phone or email. Thank you for your cooperation. Stay safe, Ellen Halliday Ellen Halliday Superintendent of School RSU 29
